Step-by-Step Guide to Measuring Your Breast Shape

There are several shapes including round, teardrop, asymmetrical and east-west… Here’s how to know which one yours is:

1. Start by standing in front of a mirror without clothing from waist up. If comfortable keep wearing the bra if not remove it so breasts can be relaxed naturally.

1. Look at their fullness; Are they fuller on top, bottom or both? If they’re fuller above nipple their “full-on-top”, if they’re below then they are “full-on-bottom” or “balanced” if evenly distributed.

1. Notice their width; How far do they extend towards your armpits? A little means “narrow-rooted” alot means “wide-rooted”.
2. Determine their projection; Do they stick out more or are just spread over chest? Sticking out more makes them “projected” while spreading them out makes them “shallow”.
3. Check if breasts touch each other, yes = “close-set”. No = “wide-set”.
4. Notice the orientation of your nipples; Do they face forward or slightly to the sides?
